Anglo-Georgian Expedition to Nokalakevi: concept design for flash presentation of inhumations
These 4 individuals, buried on top of eachother were excavated from Area B in 2002.
This flash graphic was drafted in Feburary 2006 for the website as a high fidelity presentation; the aim was to engender rapid conception of the skeletons and their relationship to eachother in their original in-situ positions.
This low resolution design is a proof of concept only. A final version could for example include options to selectively remove and highlight indivduals (i.e. 'on' and 'off'); it would be higher in resolution and include the subsequent 34+ burials excavated to date.
